Ek katalog notları ·
Denstone College was founded in 1868 by the Woodard Corporation — Nathaniel Woodard's Anglican school federation — as a boys' boarding school in the Staffordshire village of Denstone, in the Peak District. The school sits today on a 100-acre rural campus in the Peak District and became co-educational in 1996. The Headmaster is David Derbyshire. The school educates around 754 pupils with a substantial boarding population. The school is a member of the HMC and the Boarding Schools Association. The school operates a substantial bursary programme via the Woodard Foundation, intended to maintain Nathaniel Woodard's founding principle of providing Anglican boarding-school education to families regardless of means.

To define a Denstone College education is to look beyond the here and now, to gaze into the future and imagine what our children will become.
As Head of Denstone College, I believe passionately in the celebration of success and allowing that positive culture to bleed through all elements of independent school life in Staffordshire. Children need positivity, excellent role-models and a platform from which to shine; to be their own beacon of excellence.
No website, prospectus, or social media platform can do this independent school justice a place which thrives on human interaction and relationships. Please do take the time to visit Denstone College and see us in action the door is always open.
